The UK generates around 5 million tonnes of wood waste every year, but less than 1% is reused. Touch Wood rescues waste timber that would otherwise be landfilled or turned into woodchip, creating jobs and training opportunities for disadvantaged local people at the same time.
We collect from construction sites, industrial estates and other commercial sources, reclaiming everything from pallets to indoor cycle tracks – you name it, we take it! Anything we can’t reuse is locally recycled, so nothing goes to waste.

Tim Bull5 StarAmazing guys. Very friendly and helpful. Loads of wood around. (They have it all over the place in multiple stores!)
Great workshop. Going great things, and all recycled wood.
They can chop the wood how you want for 50p a cut.Saturday 7th May 2022
Simon Creed5 StarSound guys and great service.
Picked up some cut-to-measure boards from Touch Wood a couple of weeks ago for a DIY table build. Mike was super helpful and happy to talk us through everything.
Will be coming back here for my next project!Tuesday 10th May 2022
Donald Howard1 StarAfter 3 attempts to donate wood and being let down by agreeing dates and times for the pick up only to have my time wasted I have finally given up trying to donate ,they don't deserve my donation .Friday 6th May 2022
Teo4 StarGreat quality wood, spot on delivery. Only downside is that it is difficult to get in touch and place an order. An Online store or sale by email would make agreements and purchase easierSaturday 22nd February 2020
