Had an international move, service not fantastic, some furniture was damaged. Only having seven days to check and claim when a full house has been moved was impossible, discovered breakages of several ornaments due to improper packaging. Would not recommend for a long haul due to my experience. Upon delivery discovered the container had a hole in the roof with some boxes getting water damage. Claims take a long time to pay out.

I would like to say a big thank you to Georgina and Rachel from the Nottingham branch, who both went out of their way to get the date for our removals from Hertfordshire to Stranraer at short notice. Georgina was very professional from the beginning with the video chat and knew exactly what we needed to move. Rachel kept in touch with us all the way through. The lads in the lorry were brilliant even after the long journey to Scotland. They were professional and very quick too! People have reviewed Pickfords as being expensive. In my opinion you get what you pay for and we were happy to pay the price for their professionalism, courtesy and sense of humour! We didn't lose anything and nothing was broken.

Over priced hugely - living off their name which is widely known but for less than half the price so go elsewhere for the very same service
